It's just not worth it anymore, used to be one of my favorite places to visit. Restaurants are amazing but it's just too hardcore now.

With all the money San Francisco has flowing in from Super Companies like Uber, Apple, Amazon, etc it's AMAZING how shitty San Francisco has become. Too over crowded, too many hardcore drug users, homeless everywhere...it IS a shithole and it's fucking sad.

I do pick where I live very carefully, always have. But where I live now was hit very hard by the recession. My town here was growing by leaps and bounds and was the fastest growing city in the country for multiple years. But when the recession hit everything came grinding to a halt.... We had buildings half built, two different condo complexes half built, and entire shopping complexes that were empty. The street that I live in was half vacant on the day Obama took office.

Now things are much better. The two condo complexes are completely built, the shopping center is full, and all of the half built buildings are finished. They are breaking ground shortly on a new shopping complex a block from my house.

I am not sure where you live but... You talk about "having to wear gloves to clean up shit" and you area is "completely depressed".... Where exactly do you live? It might be time to move.

There are people who work at Google's San Francisco headquarters who can't afford to live in San Francisco so they share 600 ft studio apartments with 2 bunkbeds. 4 to a room.

There was a two-month period I lived in Berkeley with the mother of my child who I've known since high school, she's technically my wife. She had lived in San Francisco for five years by that time. She showed me around everywhere in San Francisco. All the ins and outs. It was really cool, a really beautiful place.

But the whole city is a trap to take as much of your money from you as possible. Parking there's absolute shit and there are all sorts of parking traps so that your car will get towed or you'll get a huge ticket. San Francisco is a lot like Boston or Baltimore where the government is constantly trying to get your money through stupid infraction traps.

Anyway I never want to live in San Francisco. it's weird how the alt-right have such a boner for San Francisco and they believe all these weird antiquated stereotypes of "liberals" it's very strange. But it's good for Democrats because the alt right are so close-minded that unless you believe everything they do they don't want anything to have to do with preach their hate. this leaves the moderates and the walk away from Republican party to keep coming to our side :thumbsup
