Facts are facts.. Honestly, I had no idea but I was fact checking a claim I saw on reddit about the Sri Lanka bombings. Someone was saying that the Tamil Tigers were the inventor of the suicide vest. I couldn't verify that but while looking found out the the 1st suicide bombing was by Russians, in fact the 2nd suicide bombing was also by Russians. After that the Chinese started doing it..

For the record you Russians also tried to use suicide dogs during WW2 but this tactic didn't work so well. The idea was the dogs would run under German tanks and detonate. The problem is in actual combat the dogs got scared because of the gunfire ran back to their handlers and blew up their Russian masters.. This program ended quickly as result..
