I had this site saved on bookmark because I thought it looked pretty good for mobile purposes. Xnxx.mobi is the site. Well, today I happen to stumble back upon it and if you click on a video it has a video from Xvideos saying “This site steals bandwidth.”

I thought it was pretty clever on both ends. And I’ve never come across that before.

I've seen that today on another tube site I was on. Too funny.

All these piece of shit tubes that have been stealing bandwidth are unknowingly giving traffic back to xvideos with that method good thinking on xvideos part.

How does it work? Like old school hotlinking detection, showing a different image if it detects an unauthorised referer?

yes, they probably use a domain whitelist
