OK Serious question about Adobe Creative Suite

I need to purchase an old copy of Dreamweaver and After Effects CS6 for Macs

Etsy seems to be all scams and most on E-bay are new sellers with zero feedback so i'm thinking also scams. Already had to make 3 chargebacks this week alone!

So if anyone knows of a genuine source please let me know.

I know a CC version is available but with my extremely limited internet access here in Maine i'm unable to use that alternative. Even Fusion 360 is hard to use via the internet as my access is so fucking slow !!!!!

Thanks

Have you tried any bricks & mortar stores that still carry software - Futureshop, BestBuy, Staples...maybe even TheSource? Dreamweaver was a common app in many stores back in the day.

you only need to login once per 90 days or so with premiere pro - I assume the same for the other creative suite products. In fact yeah, look here: https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/creative-...loud-apps.html

Thank you for the reply, i did use to have a CC account but here in Maine it really is like a third world country. I live in a remote location that sadly cannot get Spectrum Internet access (used to be Time Warner) They quoted me $400,000 to run a cable a mile to my location. So i'm stuck with either moving back to San Diego or using Hughesnet a satellite system that is notoriously slow and erratic. I use Fusion360 which has a similar feature in that you can work offline once you have logged in. Here's the problem i only get 30 gigs of access per month and that is the largest account i can get in this area. Using Adobe Creative Cloud in the past has used that up in less than a few days (also checking e-mails Fusion 360 etc) and that is just logging into CC once a month. If it rains here, which it does a lot (44" per annum ) or snows (130" per annum) then i lose the internet for days, sometimes weeks.

So to cut a very long boring story short i need to be able to use After Effects and Dreamweaver (for Macs) when i need to work and not when Hughesnet or the weather allows me internet access.

But again thanks for the reply it's much appreciated. I should note that a very kind GFY member has been in contact with me and is helping me with this situation, you know who you are, thanks man !!!!:thumbsup

..... and then to think that after 6 weeks of editing 1 vid you also need to upload it:helpme:upsidedow

Oh i'm sorry I was just thinking out loud:)

Might be cheaper and easier to buy a used computer. I see them all the time with legitimate CS6 included. You can probably get a nice MacBook pro for around $600 with it included.

Turn off any Cloud features and use the subscription.

There are two different CC versions of some versions of Adobe software. The first type, you can use it fully on your computer without accessing the internet except to validate the license. The second type is cloud based.

You should be able to install Dreamweaver software with a subscription and then use it on your computer without using any bandwidth at all. Maybe the one you tried before was a cloud based solution, not the local version?

Here is a FAQ questions:

Do I need an Internet connection to use Dreamweaver CC?
A: All Creative Cloud desktop applications are downloaded directly to your computer. Once Dreamweaver CC is installed, you won’t need to be connected to the Internet in order to use it. (Downloading the latest updates and using features like Sync Settings requires an Internet connection.)
