Proof that mankind is still most primitive

To wipe something out of existance

because they put such hardship on our lives :disgust

Kill rather than to find or attempt other solutions. Sickening.

"Since they were first introduced by European settlers, feral cats have helped drive an estimated 20 mammal species to extinction"

Do the other animals they kill off count?

:helpme

Cats are very adept hunters. Left unchecked, they could definitely have an impact on a regions biodiversity. Culling the ferals would also help protect domestic cats who might come into contact with them from communicable diseases such as FLV.

Species Extinction Happening 1,000 Times Faster Because of Humans
https://news.nationalgeographic.com/...ed-extinction/

Here are 10 iconic species no longer on Earth, largely thanks to humans.
1. Passenger pigeon
2. Dodo
3. Western black rhinoceros
4. Western black rhinoceros
etc etc

... you see my comparison? murdering and encouraging their citizens to murder is not the right way. :disgust

humans are the cancer and not the wild animals...we do not own this planet...we owe our lives to the other species that made it possible for us to live in the first place...

Without humans,

Cats would have been equalized via nature.

But unfortunately, humans.. So now it's time to kill some cats.

Yes it sucks, and it's fucked up.. But it has to happen. If you've ever lived in the country, you know that wild cats are the worst kind of pests.

Agreed. But decision-makers choose death, rather than preventative measures or alternative methods.

In my home they have deer cullings, and they even have so much power as to convince the dumb public that "i'm helping the deer by killing them" (because overpopulated). I think the gov is smart enough to know that many sick people love to kill, and if can reassure the suckies that "they are helping them" makes it win win for everyone.

Are these animals overpopulated or are we? 99% of countries have no laws protecting against human overpopulation :Oh crap

This is comedy.

You should see what deer look like when their population exceeds the food resources.
The amount of suffering they endure before their deaths is inhumane.

:helpme

This is what it looks like when they die of "natural causes".

I changed the title to that video.
The original title was "Tube sites versus the porn industry".

Australia/New Zealand should remember the lesson they learned about the thylacine. They hunted those into extinction, too. The last one died in a zoo. Forever gone.

Bladewire 05-01-2019 10:35 AM

Isn't the reason they have all the feral cats to keep the mouse population down?

Australia has a mouse plague once every 10 years or so if they kill a bunch of those cats those mice will come back and destroy everything again

Rochard 05-01-2019 10:54 AM

I like cats but... These are "wild" feral cats. These aren't pets.

Those cats are out there to kill the mice because when those cats are gone they're going to have another mouse plague :2 cents:

Natalie_K 05-01-2019 11:12 AM

Can't they gather up all the feral cats and drop them in the regions with the cane toad plague and hope that the cats munch on the poisonous toad, basically killing both of them at once. Although I'm guessing much of the predators have already figured out they can't eat the toads.

I've domesticated wild cats, they make excellent pets.

Gotta be a monster inside, to kill a baby anything. No matter what. That is a fact. :2 cents:

(They get the "green light" to kill anything that resembles a cat, giving bounties for killing babies, pregnant, asleep, anything) :disgust
