Deutschland

Is there anybody who saw this video? I have found that I do understand German... maybe because it's a father language of English.

I really do not get those who say Rammstein... Rammstein... whey did this.. What exactly they did? They did what? It is fuckin' true and this is a history of their country. My own county is not better. I'll say it was worse towards its own people. Those who rise finders and say Rammstein... is? Why this video is 18+ on YouTube?

nope it is not.
to understand what they mean in this video is really not easy - not even for germans as there was a lot of rumor around it.

actually it is not a glorification of germany as you need to know the difference between "du hast" (what means "you have") and "du hasst" (what means: you hate).

the text is written from the perspective of someone who WANTS to love germany but can not because he does not know what kind of Germany is meant with this phrase.

ich, du, wir, sie (I, you, us, them) is a not to overhear critic on drawer thinking - one of the major problems of our times.

I didn't know that and it really sounds the same to me. But I like that video and I do not agree with the people who find it offensive. It is straight and it is true. My own country has a very similar history and I don't even try to imagine someone who could sing "Russland" because such a song is a death sentence here.

BTW, Till Lindemann sings in Russian.
