No. There are typically requirements for legal immigrants to meet base level standards indicating that they can take care of themselves and will not be leeching off of public resources. This goes for most countries. Immigrants that can pay into the host country, by starting businesses, investing, have special skills, etc. they get additional "perks," if you will. As in, bumped up in the line.

There should be time limit for social assistance benefits. 6 month or 1 year top.

i'm on 3rd semester of technician pharmacist atm.
we had one very pretty girl on 1st semester (here in Poland) who finished pharmacy on the university on the ukraine and she was trying to do technician with us to get into polish pharmacy job (which is very restricted), we though "wow, she will be great, she's real pharmacist not like us noobs" well, turns out she won't be able to do anything here, literally zero pharmacy knowledge and unable to cope with us on 1st semester. she quit ofc.

Someone pointed out that a lot of them would like to work but they were labelled as tefugees so they are not allowed to work.

America is a 3rd world country compared to Switzerland. When I was in my 20's I stayed in Lucerne for about a month. It's funny because we grew up always hearing how America was the greatest country in the world and that experience certainly opened my eyes. First thing I noticed were the condition of the roads, smooth as silk and you would never see a pothole anywhere. The people I knew there all had an education, 20 year olds were nurses, computer programmers, etc, all trained in high school and were career ready by the time they got out of school. No one got out of school having to work at McDonalds for slave wages to survive. My friend that I was staying with said the only people that work those jobs were migrants. Oh, and you never saw jackasses walking around with guns like Republicans would like you to believe. Matter of fact there were very harsh penalties for someone carrying a gun in their glovebox, etc.
