OP has been taken out of context. He didn't mean for us to "kill them" later in life.. He just means that's what happens kids grow up "unwanted/unloved".. They are as good as dead.. and frankly he's right.

From birth until around 12 is crucial.. It's the only time your likely to be a real human being in life, this day and age.
