Pompeo: anybody wanting to investigate US war crimes will be asked to leave the USA
“I’m announcing a policy of U.S. visa restrictions on those individuals directly responsible for any ICC investigation of U.S. personnel,” Pompeo told a news conference in Washington.

Last month the main prosecutor Bensouda of the ICC tasked with researching war crimes had her visa revoked by America in an effort to hinder an investigation. The prosecutor was going to travel around the US in a preliminary probe of possible violations in Afghanistan.
American diplomats simultaneously leaned on their international allies with threats (including possible sanctions) not to pursue the matter.
