You mean, invented? Photography wasn't widespread until the 1850s. 170 years later, photography has entered a golden age with the advent of digital. Are you saying we're in the Daguerreotype era?

I disagree. They can build the body of a sci-fi robot today, expensive but they can. It's the software they don't have. I think it takes max 40 years as assisted coding platforms get faster and better.
