Before the redacted version of the Muller Report was released BuzzFeed News sued the DOJ forcing them to list the reason for each redaction. They won their case and today and "new" version of the redacted Muller report was released. The new verson now states what the reason something is redacted..

The 2 reasons for redaction's are...

withheld because it would interfere with ongoing law enforcement proceedings

or

withheld on national security grounds.


This might seem like splitting hairs but it's sort of important because it will now allow for lawsuits against the DOJ on redactions that might not have been necessary. Example Cohen is already convicted so why is there still redactions about his case stating it would hinder a investigation? Meaning some of the likely redactions were done by Barr to cover for Trump..
