Can any GFY resident genius help me with this one annoying question?
Why the fuck do almost all post-"Back in Black" ACDC songs seem like ripoffs of each other?
What the fuck? Then again, no less than VIVALDI himself was accused of pretty much cranking out the same shit again and again. |
If it works why change?
You could call it 'their style'. Porn is another prime example... |

Lots of groups sound the same on each song. The good groups can create different sounds for most songs and feature various instruments rather than the same ones.
First one I think of is Queen. Guitar, piano, and other things were featured rather than just guitars. No synthesizers was their motto. The 80’s were the synth era. The Cars had many songs sounding similar. No one stood out and I saw them whenever they played Boston. Many groups grind out albums by rote. The lyrics are not special and the music is copycat. They aren’t able to expand their knowledge and they end up second act at festivals and opening act for third rate bands. You need to keep learning and allowing new ideas into your mind. |
I'm an expert on this subject.
While that might be somewhat true, they were still one of the longest-lasting and most kickass bands ever Personally, I thought 2008's 'Black Ice' was a great album. Fresh sounds and every song was good AC/DC = legends :thumbsup |
They are the most boring band Iv';e ever heard. Never had a clue how they became so popular
