For spiritual purposes yes, for artistic purposes not so much.

I make music, and yes it does spark artistic motivation for me... cant speak for nobody else.

I usually start off high as shit, and clean everything up sober. That's my basic workflow when it comes to music.

It allows me to reach into those places in my mind which are unavailable to me when not high. This isn't something I have to debate, it's a raging truth for me that weed increases my creativity, whether I'm writing or making visual art.
