Well its official.... we've found Alien life
https://www.techtimes.com/articles/2...uth-africa.htm
Up in the Makhonjwa Mountains of South Africa is a sliver of volcanic rock originating from 3.3 billion years ago. More than its age, scientists are awestruck at what they found within the ancient rock: evidence of organic matter from outer space. "This is the very first time that we have found actual evidence for extraterrestrial carbon in terrestrial rocks," Frances Westall, study author and astrobiologist at the CNRS Centre for Molecular Biophysics, told New Scientist. In the Moakhonjwa Mountain region, the scientists analyzed a volcanic deposit known as the Josefsdal Chert. With the use of electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy, they discovered that a 2-millimeter rock layer in the deposit contained two types of organic matter that point distinctly at extraterrestrial origins. |
carbon based organic matter not quite life per se: "Plenty of previous research have suggested that organic molecules that *kick-started life*"
more like the building blocks. |
Shucks, I was hoping they'd say "we come in peace" and all that. Organic molecules don't necessarily mean life, though.

well ok then... clickbait. there was a story yesterday talking about objects zooming past f-18's

I take it as aliens throwing stones at us . ..

Naysayers, I'm sorry, but you have to accept that carbon based organic matter from a space rock is life. Period. End of argument.
However, a heart beat in a womb is NOT life. Got it? Good. I'm glad everything is now sorted out. |

I dismiss this as others that claim 'the rock came from space"
We have been told this countless times and they can theorize it, they can't prove that. They also can't say if it came in contact with organic material as it entered the atmosphere if it is from space. And I personally doubt it. It it is a neat way to get continued research money. It seems to be the preferred method now, it works. In saying all of that, I still believe there is plenty of life out there, despite our ability to prove that... for now. |
So they found an unidentified object?

It would be so selfish of human kinds to suppose that we are alone in the Universe
