Yes and Hillary won the popular vote by 3 million votes.. Clearly the people voted for Hillary. The gerrymandered electoral college voted Trump into office.. Most of the people who voted in the 2016 presidential election voted for Hillary Clinton. Donald Trump is the president-elect. ... Clinton received 65,844,610 votes, or 48.2% of the total vote. Trump received 62,979,636 votes, or 46.1% of the total vote |
Yes, she won the popular vote. What swing states are you looking at for a change in 2020? I'm looking at Wisconsin (close), Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

I'm sure we will see a very different outcome being in the 2016 election Democrats out voted Republicans in that state but Republicans still took more seats. PA was one of the most illegally gerrymandered states in our nation's history. It will most certainly go blue . |

Tell us how Trump will win 2020.. |

The states I list above, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, if they change from 2016, ceteris paribus ('all other things being unchanged or constant') will mean the democrat will win. But if you're actually interested, I can lay out how he might win, against the odds. |

If you go back and look at the voting maps long before the 2016 election you will see that there was a hell of a lot more blue even in rural areas prior to Republicans focusing heavily on taking control of states..
Granted Reagan did have a extremely strong turn out for his wins but before and even after the was a much more "purple mix across the entire country. The rural maps only changed so much once Republicans started gerrymandering illegally. |
