Gen Z, millennials and Gen X out voted Boomers in 2018. All 3 groups overwhelmingly vote Democrat..

Yes and Hillary won the popular vote by 3 million votes..

Clearly the people voted for Hillary. The gerrymandered electoral college voted Trump into office..

Most of the people who voted in the 2016 presidential election voted for Hillary Clinton. Donald Trump is the president-elect. ... Clinton received 65,844,610 votes, or 48.2% of the total vote. Trump received 62,979,636 votes, or 46.1% of the total vote

Yes, she won the popular vote. What swing states are you looking at for a change in 2020? I'm looking at Wisconsin (close), Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

PA has already been redrawn.. it will now have its 1st fair election in 10 years.

I'm sure we will see a very different outcome being in the 2016 election Democrats out voted Republicans in that state but Republicans still took more seats.

PA was one of the most illegally gerrymandered states in our nation's history.

It will most certainly go blue .

Yes, and it is a "home state" for Biden. That's 20, what else you got?

I've said repeatedly I think he will have a very hard time winning. I'm worried now you don't read your own threads. Strange since I'm the only one in here so far.

The states I list above, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, if they change from 2016, ceteris paribus ('all other things being unchanged or constant') will mean the democrat will win.

But if you're actually interested, I can lay out how he might win, against the odds.

It's more than just those 3 states that have had their gerrymandering over turned.

Notice you always have to explain facts to Trump supporters? It's like this never ending re-education of them and them resisting facts and knowledge.

crockett 05-29-2019 11:24 AM

If you go back and look at the voting maps long before the 2016 election you will see that there was a hell of a lot more blue even in rural areas prior to Republicans focusing heavily on taking control of states..

Granted Reagan did have a extremely strong turn out for his wins but before and even after the was a much more "purple mix across the entire country. The rural maps only changed so much once Republicans started gerrymandering illegally.

You talking about me shill? I thought I was on your ignore list. If you have something to say, say it and quit being a pussy. Otherwise, stop treating crockett like your bitch. He's talking with the adults just fine. We're exchanging viewpoints - no one needs you in here fucking it up.

I think what matters is turnout. Democrat turnout is up, we know that. Now will the chosen candidate sustain that enthusiasm. I'm a centrist, so technically I should support Biden, but he has a lot of weaknesses. I'd prefer a centrist who can also deliver the black vote, which is 90% democrat.
