How are people withdrawing from Paxum now?
 

Have thousands stuck on Paxum that I can't withdraw to my bank accounts in UK/Australia. Can't use card because it's Trucash. Feels like my money is literally stuck at Paxum.

What are people doing to get access to their cash?

Still using EFT and works.

That sucks. Can’t you return the funds to sender & ask to receive a wire instead?

It makes me feel lucky that I received their new card.

Since I never received a new card and they took EFT and wire away, my currently only option is withdrawing to an external card. Which worked surprisingly well and even without any fees from my bank or currency exchange losses since I have a multi-currency account.

There are plenty of people who do exchanges (for example Paxum to PayPal to Wire, etc).

Also, you can withdraw directly to your Credit Card about $2500 per day.

Still can do wires in USD/EUR. Not sure what the topic starter is talking about. The only option that is gone now is EFT for some currencies.

You are able to withdrawal via wire in EUR/USD just as we have always had.

Can you advise how to get the money off the trucash card? The credit union is not answering.

Wire $50 on their side $15 on this side... $65 per withdrawal

Which one are you talking about? UnionPay or Wirecard?

1. You need to ask Trucash to return the money back to your Paxum Account.

2. If you can't get it out of Paxum you need to ask Paxum for a refund back to client.

3.Then get a wire from the client.

That's the only way.

I was able to pay today with trucash card domains on namecheap.

We never took away wire and EFT to CZ always worked in EUR and continues to work

How long did that take? I'm currently using wire but thinking about that option, i just never tried it.

i withdrew via EFT before, now my bank account is not available anymore for withdrawal. I tried USD and EUR.

And I do have a Raiffeisen Multi-Currency account - which your system is probably not able to handle. Cause if the EFT option exists in EUR, I would simply withdraw in EUR.

And when I withdrew before, I received CZK, even if I didn't want to. But that option is definitely gone.

Based on your location EFT withdraw will work to your bank when you have your bank account currency listed as EUR inside your Paxum account.

Come on paxum, wtf am I supposed to do here? I have money stuck on the trucash card. Trucash washes their hands of this, the credit union that issued the card doesn't reply to me. These funds were entrusted to paxum.

The funds on the prepaid card do not belong and are not entrusted to Paxum as you claim. Do not confuse people here. Credit Union is responsible for the funds and if you read other users, they still can use the funds online. The bank just decided to limit ATM usage.

ATM usage, POS usage, and Online usage. I think the only remaining uses for the card involve cocaine :1orglaugh

As for entrusted to paxum, maybe they don't have it, but you would think in their contracts with trucash they'd have something gaurenteeing the funds deposited on the cards - no? The cards stop working, it's brand damage for Paxum. People with money stuck on the trucash card with no way to recover it are unlikely to continue using paxum for fear of getting a larger amount stuck somewhere else again.

Yes, that is what i was interested in, when do you see it on the account, not how long it takes to process if that was the answer before. 2 days is not bad, wires take longer.

They asked to email them with last 8 digits of card and ask for refund. They will close the card after this. FYI

Jesus guys, just use a bank to handle your money.

If that Trucash card is not linked to your PayPal account this is what you do. You create an invoice in PayPal and send it to one of your email which is not linked to your PayPal account. You pay the invoice using the Trucash card on PayPal. Bingo your money is in PayPal now....

But note that Trucash seem to have totally disabled cards for some people depending on their country.

I don't have a paypal account, and if i try to buy anything with paypal it says the card issuer has blocked the transaction.

Re: Australia, here's my recent experience:

- Withdraw via EFT is no longer available

- Withdraw to Westpac Mastercard debit fails

- Withdraw via wire to Westpac bank account in USD was successful. (ie let the bank convert USD to AUD)

It's a very expensive way to move money.

I withdrew $20k in the past 3 weeks thru 2 wires and it worked like a charm.
Since it's sent from the UK, it takes literaly 2 days to be in my account in EU.
Waiting for their new card though as this is always helpful

Have you ever considered proactively communicating with your clients?

It would have been actually very easy to filter out people like me who lost EFT for CZK and tell them: "sorry about that but if you have an EUR account, it still works."

it would avoid anger, frustration and public posts - and give your clients a feeling that you actually care about them and their money.

not speaking about the revenue you lose cause i have recently directed several payments away from Paxum because of the uncertainty whether i be able to withdraw or not.

-I Withdrew via WIRE, it arrived in 2 days (EUR to EUR bank account) - cost me around $350 total on $10,000 (had to exchange USD > EUR then send that to USD bank account, which converted back)

-I withdrew via ETF to EU bank, and it didnt arrive yet. Maybe ETF is slower than WIRE in EU.

I had problems with them but i solved it

I am not having access to my money. I have been waiting since last year. I asked for the new card after they changed processors in November. The card was made and sent but never arrived. Then in March I asked for another one this time paying to come via fedex and was never even processed. Then I heard they were making the Unionpay card I then asked for it paid a lot to come via fedex in May and it's in printing till now. I don't know what's going on because they always work fine with me. I never had problems with them before but now I am starting to wonder if I will ever see my money.
