I'm spending the weekend in the fanciest hotel I've ever been to in my life in Mobay. it's like $800 a night here and no I did not pay for this or ask for it. feel more than a little out of my element but yesterday talking to concierge/wait/security peeps got invited to a staff only party that was...amazing. the rest is a little stuch for me but man this place is gorgeous and 7 people could live in this bathtub
here with my best female friend and my boy, plus my BIL and his girl (who is so awesome, I hope she's a keeper cuz I'm getting attached). BIL had to go out of town for two weeks on biz and my boy had a week away for his biz overlapping that. so I took total MIL duties and loved doing it cuz I absolutely love her. due to life circumstances in the past I'm actually closer to her than either of them in terms of feelings
as a gift of thanks BIL treated me and my girl to a weekend here and they all came along on their own steam so we could all spend some time together
waiting for A to wake up (we stayed up til past dawn) and just staring at the ocean listening to music and taking it all in and thinking and enjoying the fact that I can program the room to turn on purple lights when I walk in
got the best compliment of my life last night from my BIL, I am apparently a heat seeking missile for good vibes
hope everyone has some fun this weekend. shut down the comp and get outside. even if it is raining, rain can be so much fun if you work it =)
