If you ordered something and it said "Standard Shipping in 4-5 working days"...
 

Would you take that to mean it should arrive in your hands within 4-5 working days, or... that in 4-5 working days they will pull it off the shelf, put it in the post and then send it to you?

If today is Thursday then I would expect delivery by next Weds or Thurs.

But how about if you deliberately made it difficult for them, by giving them the wrong address?

Umm...why?

Well, you know... Keep them on their toes? Keep things interesting?

Don't want these companies resting on their laurels, especially when there are extremely drunk people, ordering stuff they don't really need and cunt really a4d, in the middle of the night and making spelling mistakes in their address and stuff... :2 cents:

I would expect my friendly postie to recognise my package with or without the correct address and deliver it as usual.

Shipping "in" 4-5.. Means they wont ship it for 4 to 5 days then it will take whatever time it takes to get to you.

Cheers - I suspected that. It's a US company, but I'm dealing with the UK division. The phrasing of 'Shipping' isn't really a term that's used that much in the UK so I was looking for a definition.

It depends on the company. Amazon says that and you get it in 4-5 days. Other companies don’t ship for 4-5 days.

I forgot about “working” days. That means Monday through Friday since weekends aren’t work days for most companies.

I'd imagine fleshlights have a fairly distinctive packaging shape.

amazon , 4-5 days are 4-5 working days
aliexpress , 10-12 days = a month

Of it's from the USA be aware of import duty. I bought a fee bits and dhl tried to get me to cover import duty costs.

Nah, its all cool. It's a worldwide clothing brand, and when you goto their .com site, you end up at a .co.uk version that's based in Britain for British people. - So Im not actually ordering from overseas... The stuff will be dispatched within the UK :)

But to be fair, I was drunk when I ordered and was taken in by the word 'Shipping' I thought it said 'Shitting' and so I hit that order button within seconds !

Thats a little too friendly! My postperson has never seen my package and never will !

Well apparently my card was charged today, so....

Just got email saying

We’re pleased to let you know that your order # XXXXXX has been dispatched and is now on its way

So, that's technically 2 'working days' so far... Ordered real late on a Thursday - Friday - Day 1 Sat / Sun don't count and today, Monday is Day 2...

Apparently according to tracking its being sent from Belgium !

BTW, I don't expect anyone to actually be all that interested in this, but I am interested and this is a nice simple way for me to keep track of it for myself xxx

Well it's arrived ! 4 Days (4 Working Days) I'm impressed :)

They even sent it for free via DPD. DPD is like the premium delivery service round my area, because you always get the same driver and they always give you a 1 hour time slot and keep to it - Unlike other delivery services that can be awful...

Nothing of any importance - Just a couple of fancy tops... I have only opened the bag enough to get the free returns label out of the packing, take a shit inside the bag so as it goes all over the clothing, and then resealed it up...

Sending it back later this afternoon, happy in the knowledge that my experiment was a success, and that someone in the returns section is in for an exciting surprise !
