I found an email this morning in my box thanking me for joining the ARS resource board. (Which I never signed up for???) and out of curiosity I clicked "forgot password" to see what it said on the profile and sure enough my ICQ number, etc were in there, but it was obvious I didn't create the profile because I use the exact same signature in every board I am a member of and someone typed one in without ref codes and even included one of our programs that I don't even rep.

I have nothing against this other board, checked it out, seems cool.. but WTF? Did this happen to anyone else? I'm confused.

I got one as well, but that's because I'm an ARS affiliate, then you're automatically a member. Maybe you joined ARS at some stage?

No, I do sales/marketing for the Hawgs, so I personally don't have an account with any sponsors other than ours. lol Very odd.

I'm not worried-- I just don't appreciate someone taking it upon themselves to create an account on my behalf. (I'm thinking it has something to do with referal points and someone is misbehaving) ???
