Everyone locally is asking me to run for city council. Here in my hometown there is five people on the city council - the mayor and four city council members. The mayor position rotates every year. Right now three out of the five city council members have been on the city council for years, and the public would vote for anyone other than these three.

I would run but I am afraid someone will dig up my back ground here in the industry.
