Paxum Unionpay Card
 

No offense, I use paxum and it works well for me currently, but I paid extra to have one rushed to me. In the end, I ended up with two cards (the second I bet was regular shipping). And I'm still not able to activate it? There's no link to register / confirm my card in the mail. Support keeps saying we'll contact you when it's ready.

Paxum any timeline on this? Could I have my delivery fee refunded since getting it faster and then getting another card regular shipping didn't really benefit me?

I got mine about a week ago. I was aware there was an issue with activating them but thought that was supposed to be sorted over a week ago now.

I emailed Ruth over a week ago asking if there was any update to when they can be activated and no reply.

Ruth is usually very quick to reply so seems a little strange to me.

Same, I paid extra to have it quick. And then I couldn't activate it. I know they sent out an email about it getting fixed but no news of progress. :upsidedow

That's what paxum offers at least here in Canada.

So why wouldn't I use it? Unless you're saying there's an obvious problem with them using Union with paxum from the get go?

i got two UnionPay Card . Support service told that no way to activate it now.. need to wait.

I expect unionpay to respect the chinese laws, but i dont know what are their policies for abroad businesses

Is it possible to link your Paxum card to PayPal as a 2nd card?

if you are lucky to have working paxum card you can try it yourself :)

Paypal didn't ask you for additional documents when you added it?
I remember few years back when I added paxum card they requested additional docs.

No, I always linked my Paxum card to my Paypal and they never asked for any docs.

OK, considering we are not getting any info here and this is totally unprofessional, shall someone of you guys located in any of the countries from the list below, call support and try to find out WTF is going on. Who is lying, why, etc? I would drop an email but couldn't find precise contact on union pay website

I dont believe its UnionPay the problem, more the bank that's issuing the cards...

it doesn't matter. I personally believe paxum tried to trick union pay and they figured it out services can be porn related but we need an official statement.

clearly, paxum doesn't give a fuck for customers, reputation, etc and this is what companies are doing when they are going down, struggling to survive.

So someone from countries on the list, can you call and ask wtf. ideally, someone that already has a card in their hands.

"Hello" for you. Try refreshing page,changing monitor or even a device you are using and find where I've said: do you process adult payments.

Let me save you time, you won't find it.

We need to know what is going with card and WHAT IS THE REASON for the delay. A real reason, not paxum excuses. In the end, they will eventually find out about the nature of a business so it is better to happen sooner than later.

As i said no need to contact UnionPay directly, the name of the bank issuing the card is on the the card we received, they have a website just contact them if you want. They are the one with the "API issue".

No need to talk about adult, that's the best way of killing that card before we even had a chance to use it.

Webmoney has a UnionPay card and it seems to work fine with them and they are crypto friendly

The faith some of you show in Paxum sorting this out is nothing short of amazing. They lost their ability to do EFT's in North America. The banks are putting a high level of scrutiny on each wire, if not outright refusing them. Their card 'partner' is not dealing with them.

These aren't minor hiccups. These are the signs of a company fighting for their life while the regulatory systems are shutting them down.

i think all those hacked whatevers screwed things up. remember people were saying they were getting charges on their accounts? there were so many :Oh crap sponsors are going to suck up the bullshit and get paypal like the other sponsors. gamma i think its free while tac charges like 10 fucking bucks
