I like it. I liked it before fratboys got ahold of it.

Im glad he died before the whorification process could be completed.

Fletch XXX 05-06-2003 12:45 PM

damn Labret, I never would have thought.

Ive liked them for awhile now too, my girlfriend has the largest Sublime rarity collection ever man. She busts that whole stack of CDs out when she gets nice and drunk, hahaha...

Let me know if you want some reeeally early shit.

I also have The Ziggens, you might dig them.

Ever heard them?

cherrylula 05-06-2003 12:46 PM

Years ago a friend of mine was banging their manager.... so I hijacked all the promo cds she got from him. hehe

Zoe_Zoebaboe 05-06-2003 12:50 PM

Nope.

My favorite Sublime, shit I cant even remember the name of it, someone gave me a bunch of mp3 of old songs that sounded like they were done on a 4 track in someones garage. Cant even remember the names of the songs.

"Ive got a secret place, inside my mind" I can sing the whole damn thing if necessary.

Great stuff. Amazing stuff. I seem to have lost them, cant find them on my hard drive

"There's a steel train runnin' through,
I would take it if I could, but
Sunday mornin soon will come,
and things would be much easier to say,
upon the microphone like a boss dj,

and I won't walk up upon the sea like it was dry land,
I'm funky not a junky, but I know where to get it.

Boss deejay aint nuthin but a man,
no trouble no fuss, I know why
cause its so nice
I wanna hear the same song twice..."

blah blah blah...

Great song, many memories...

Anyone got any sublime mp3's...I don't have a single one...all the good stuff I had was on tape anyway...

Nope.
There would be no Sublime if it hadn't been for The Ziggens.

Check out the Troubador show here in LA in 1998 ;) These guys have been around for awhile, their CDs sound better than this live crap obviously. Old school surfin California beer drinking pot smoking skater beach surfer stuff. Just a bunch of clowns.

My girl has the biggest collection of old Sublime ever. Shit that was given to her by friends back in the days, only available at the shows in the old days, killer stuff, 4 track recordings in the apt type shit.

I've got all their cds, even the greatest hits which is just a collection of songs I had on other cds already. Have a lot of the videos too. My favorite all-time band.

Long Beach Dub All-Stars are pretty good too...but it's not the same. :(
