How do I check what version of Bluetooth is on my S7 phone?

Without downloading some third party app that apparently contains adverts etc?

And also, is BT backwards compatible? ie if I order headphones that are BT 5.0 will they also work with say BT 4.1 ?

I HAVE Googled but it says:

But I dont have the Icon named Bluetooth Share - I just have bluetooth and at the bottom of that its says Version 8.0.0 which is greater than 5 so Im confused?
