To be Lean or not to be Lean ?
to get Lean you must lose a lot of body fat...… The average person is around 20%+ body fat... Abs begin to show at around 15% body fat or lower..
when you lose a lot of body fat you usually get skinny looking... especially if you have a smaller frame and bone structure.. :disgust then you think oh.. I need to gain weight I look too skinny... so you start eating more.. then you gain body fat % back.. https://i.postimg.cc/HWSmLJJ1/6y7.jpg |

Focus on adding muscle and the leanness will take care of itself (eventually if you learn how to cut the calories back). And you'll also look better once you get lean. But it's not going to be a quick process.
Took me a few years to get to that Hugh jackman look I was after...and I'm still chasing it. If all you care about is a six pack then building a nice set of abs is key. I never work my abs because my philosophy is that everyone already has a set...they're just covered by a layer of fat. While that's true, if you don't have well developed abs then it'll take more fat removal to make definition show in that area. I'm in the 10 to 12% percent BF range now, but my six pack is still blurry. I know people who show a good six pack at higher body fat levels because they do lots of ab work. The only thing I do to contribute to ab growth is deadlifts...and squats. But that's not the same as direct work. |
Fuck Hugh Jackman

I just like being natural. Not more than what I should be or less just normal. I'm kind of lazy though. I put some extra pounds on I'll eat less and work out more until I'm back.
