Are you a Jack of all trades, master of none, or a specialist in your field?
 

Until today, I'd have said I was a jack of all trades, yet despite muddling through, I realise that these days, I'm a master of none...

But what about you? Are you a specialist in your field? If so, why not list your specialty, in keeping with the new spirit of GFY and keeping it a business space?

What's your specialty?

I solve problems.

I am this yes, however, I have been known to be an expert at finding hot new talent to bring into the industry since 2001 and an expert of shooting amateur content, so I have that going for me.

Well, i started just as designer, and for more than 15 years i just focused on designing.

The last 5 years was more about to do some other things to, and getting stronger every day on some of them, like being project manager, photographer, and recruiter, doing those 4 things sometimes it's more of what i can handle at the same time, but i feel super comfortable with all of them, and making things on different fields it's something that i realize it's better than being good in just one.

When we were runnin' the company - definitely jack of all trades (except html coding - that was the wife's gig).

Some aspects I exceled at - photography, post-edit production, set design, prop building. Made a good livelihood with it for more than a decade...so if that's the definition of 'mastering', sure.

My weak ingredient was marketing & promotion. And we made a few bad decisions with our choice of webhosting in the earlier years.

I am a jack of all trades. I am what we orginally called a "webmaster". I've done it all.
