Lots going on with RED camera lately. It's released that Apple is suing them in an attempt to invalidate their RAW patent, the day after video is released laying out potential fraud in obtaining their patents.
They've had a lawsuit thrown out and a number of industry journalists have come forward with stories of lawsuits and threats of lawsuits. Lots of shady, patent troll like stuff.
The $1500 RED Touch LCD is $50 in Chinese parts they tout it as MADE IN THE USA.
