$1,000 Sneakers
On sale for $940 but regular price is $1,100. These sneakers, not running shoes, are not looking special enough to pay a grand a pair.
I used to drive to the Reebok outlet store and buy up to eight pair in leather, one color each, and paid about $35 for $200 sneakers. I’d get a few pair of running shoes in white to match anything. I can’t fathom spending that much money for sneakers. I glanced at other items from the designer and they have t-shirts ON SALE for $181. I don’t buy designer products because I’m not paying to put your name on my body. The quality is nothing special and I didn’t need to advertise that I had money when I did. I’m looking for a pair of sneakers that aren’t boring. Colorful and comfy at a reasonable price and made to last. I clicked a link from an outlet store and then I saw sneakers for a thousand dollars. |

My Nikes went up $6.

They look a little obese.

My current jordan's were $175
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The most I've ever spent on Jordan's were $230 and I wouldn't spend more than that.. Those shoes were ugly |

A lot of Asian kids would go all in for that. Just part of the culture. I was in Vancouver for pride weekend and you should have seen the show. I'a asian myself. The most I ever paid for sneakers is $50 for airmax. |
Sneakers are art. Theres an entire worldwide sneakerhead culture.
I was a sneakerhead until recently and still have an ungodly amount of Adidas and Chuck's in the attic. But I've toned down and have been wearing the same 2 pairs of cloudfoam and boost Adidas for like 2 years now lol. |

I would get in financial trouble if I ever started collecting them haha. If I won the Powerball I would have a room just for my shoes. Forget about Lambos. |
You definitely need these so other wankers that have them can identify you.

Its kinda funny to me that Americans call them 'Sneakers' We call them 'Trainers' because you can 'Train' in them - Do sports etc...
Yet you call them sneakers - I like to imagine that's because you use them to sneak around in, and hope that you wont get heard ! |

I was a Reebok girl and had suede over cloth as they lasted longer. It wasn’t for status or bragging rights. You grew up and realized that status or sneaker cost means shit in life. If someone looks up to you because of your shoes, it’s hollow thing. But would you spend thousands on sneakers? ;) |
I see Kanye and adidas charge for the custom Yeezys $500-5000k+ who buys this crap.
|
That is insane. I never spend more than $50.00 for sneakers. And I still look cool! :D

I grew up with sneakers and will always call them that though here I say Nikes. It isn’t like I run or sneak around in them. |
Down south they call them tennis shoes

I recently got a pair of adhesive slippers. They were a gift and you peel off the cover to reveal a sticky surface on the shape of each foot. They’re supposed to be taken off and reused but I’m doubting that they will stick securely again. I’d not walk in them and would sleep with them on my feet. I’m told that they are about five dollars per pair. For the beach and ocean I’d think they are a smart choice. Around the house they’d be great as well. I’ll try them soon after the humidity goes away for the season. I’m concerned that my feet will be hurt when entering doors as they often bump into the metal doors. Maybe just when going out for lunch to certain restaurants. I’m thinking back and we used to call them tennis shoes also. High-tops were basketball shoes. People wore sneakers only for tennis and they weren’t every day footwear. |

Freaks with style. I don’t appreciate it though. Flip Flops on beach > than any shoe. |
Too expensive.

Who the hell would go running in shoes that cost $1,000 - $4,500; non-professionals excluded. |
I was on youtube and saw this and was like.. gfy this shit :1orglaugh
|
Yawnn, ever since I've started running again, I'm already spending extra $$ in workout gear so I stick to saucony, inexpensive but literary hug my feet and very lightweight!!

Every now and then I resell sneakers that are hard to aquire and rise in value.
There is even a "stock" market that you can sell and bid on the shoes you want. It was valued over 1 billion recently. StockX: Buy and Sell Sneakers, Streetwear, Handbags, Watches |
when I look on this pic, sneakers go to plan 2
