Heroic dog rescues puppy pal who's stranded on boat

I couldn’t save this video so linked it. People think dogs are just dumb animals with no brain cells. I thought my dog was smart but this dog is a Harvard graduate and definitely proves that dogs have brains and can think on their own.

The crying puppy is so scared and isn’t old enough to think of jumping into the water and swimming to shore. The courageous Rottweiler proves that the breed of dogs known as vicious can be sweet and kind and heroic.

Some dogs are dopey animals but people seem to think that dogs can only be trained to sit and fetch.

This dog was trained well but how often would they be called on to rescue a dinghy in shallow water? We trained our dog to jump off the dock onto our boat, and he had to crawl under the railing to get onboard. He could jump to the top bunk in the front bedroom and pull himself up through the hatch. He never jumped off the boat and instinctively knew that walking around the boat was dangerous. But if he saw fish jumping out of the water, he’d stand up against the railing and I swear he wanted to join them. 😆

I’ll Google Kevin after I finish my stuff. I love seeing smart dogs.*

a normal dog does not grab a rope to pull a boat. a rescue dog would

An oldie reference, but yeah...I recall it from an early Koontz novel. Watchers if memory serves.
