Does anyone use AWS for adult hosting?
 

I have been using AWS for a number of other projects, I was curious if anyone here uses AWS for hosting adult sites, and if there is an unreleased "GFY Educational Series" on tricks of the trade for using AWS for hosting, ways to save money, and little hacks to make life easier.

I did for a pretty big ass project, but it got super expensive. I ended up putting CloudFlare in front to cache things and eventually ended up moving everything to MojoHost. Their CDN is pretty fast and their support is fantastic 👍

Amazon charges an arm and a leg for bandwidth so I think you'd be crazy to host adult there. Images may be fine but video is a definite NO. There are many cheaper options so if you host adult on there you're wasting money.

Yes I do some adult projects on AWS but this service is expensive and no worth - for better price your sites can work same fast than on AWS.

I built a network of sites on AWS and speed was fantastic.

Then the sites started getting popular in India and my BW bill went through the roof. Am now migrating to another host.

AWS is great for smaller sites, but if you intend on getting any type of decent traffic, be sure to use another CDN than Cloudfront because they will rip you a new one.
