Excellent.. making more of a profit from hiding pirates.
The article does not say or imply that...
I guess they will just limit the traffic for free accounts to cut back the costs..

I use a free version for site, also i use a 3th party content delivery network to serve a media files like images and videos so my traffic via cloudflare is only a "html" content. pretty easy and much faster than when you use cloudflare for whole site.
It would be fantastic if they dropped that free plan. Abused to hell and back.
hmmm my blog NatalieKash uses cloudflare, i was told to use it to sort out the shtml problem...
wonder how this will pan out :2 cents: |
I have used the Cloudflare free plan nearly since it first became available. Once I heard they were going public, it pretty much knew it was an absolute fact that the free plan is going to go bye bye, or at most become much more heavily restricted. The free plan has met and exceeded my needs for many years. I suppose when they go public and change it all up, the least I can do is finally give them some money.
Cloudflare has been invaluable in protecting my web properties and I wouldn't mind spending up to $50/month for what I get for free now. I hope they are profitable soon because I really love their service.
Personally,I think they should be apolitical and only refuse to offer their service to sites that are deemed illegal according to US law and not cave under pressure from the mainstream media. |

Well this is interesting.
they should limit resources on free plan.
or make 20 bucks or 5-10 bucks per site fee per year. if they drop free plan , there is huge chance some other company will come up. |
They have implemented a 100 domain adds, removals pee hour.
We have a Cloudflare competitive product starting at $10 per month! Email [email protected] for more information.

So, no I am not interested in knowing about your security features, I only am interested if you would host tubes with stolen content or file sharing sites. A simple question. No ?:2 cents: |
Celandina,
If you do your research you’ll find that I’m the only host that publicly declared a decade ago that we won’t host such sites with a preponderance of stolen content. We have an extremely effective and responsive DMCA process, also. We serve more paysites than anyone else in the world. For all of the tens of thousands of porn sites that we host, MojoHost receives less than dozens of DMCAs per month. Paying another large host? Then you’re inadvertently supporting way more copyright infringement. Brad |
