I briefly looked through the Disney+ lineup last night, it looks pretty interesting. They have a few good series' catering to a variety of fanboys, will make for an immediate boost in subscriptions. Quite a few for Marvel characters.

Werner Herzog in a Star Wars movie? This one looks like it has a little stank on it, like Rogue One.

CaptainHowdy 08-24-2019 05:28 PM

Werner Herzo sold me indeed . . .

lovebitch 08-24-2019 07:53 PM

Unrealistic shit.

HairyChick 08-24-2019 09:18 PM

Disney and the-name-I-forget are dueling over rights and exclusivity for their features.

This movie sounds great and I’m hoping it lands on Netflix quickly.

It's a tv show not a movie...

That is pretty much the idea behind science fiction . . .

Yeah I researched it and it’s not for me.

Yes, because Star Wars is very realistic usually.

I thought Rogue One was pretty good. I also liked the Han Solo movie too.

When it comes to sci-fy TV, all we really have is Star Wars and Star Trek.

I liked Firefly. I had never heard of it until after it had ended. I was in Target and the entire first season was on sale for $4. I figured for $4 it couldn't hurt and I was instantly hooked....

I also miss Battlestar Galatica. I watched the original when I was a kid, however tacky it is now, and the new version was so much better.

You mean good as in "the cheapest today over a 3 month period" ?:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

I think they will fuck up with their streaming platform and the stock price will return to 2013-2014 levels

Only hoping that Jonathan Favreau will do a good job on this one as he did on Iron man. The trailer seems awesome tho.

They're not dueling at all. Negotiations are likely still in process. And it's for a character, the biggest of characters, nothing more.

I watched the first season and it did nothing for me. A quick look on YouTube tells me it got better. I'll also add this to my watch list.
