Middle Men

I watched it last night. I thought it was an okay watch. Surprised how much money it lost.

I guess that's where all of our epass money went.

What an asshole.

I watched this movie some years ago.
I was lucky and i get all my epass funds

CurrentlySober 08-29-2019 11:14 AM

I thought it was an OK watch too... But only from the perspective of someone within the industry... I'm not so sure it would have been that interesting to a 'civilian'...

k0nr4d 08-29-2019 11:48 AM

I watched it a few years ago and then rewatched it about 2 weeks ago. Definately an OK movie. That being said, it of course came from torrents for obvious reasons.

oh Chris Mallick, fuck you!

SilentKnight 08-29-2019 05:49 PM

Cost $20million to make.

Box office - $754,301

Sly 08-29-2019 05:53 PM

I used ePass literally once. Right before the fiasco. Dodged a bullet.

King Mark 08-29-2019 07:29 PM

^I used them extensively. But my spidey senses kicked in and I was getting out of all that when shit went left. I took a loss, but not big enough to really cry about. For me anyway, wasnt like I was going to find chris to punch him in the mouth. I just took the L and kept it moving.

I remember when somebody posted a list of epass usernames and passwords on here from an unsecure paysite. And they were fucking valid. I was young and dumb and checked. So did a few others. I didnt steal from anybody, but that and a few other weird things lit a fire under my ass to begin my exit.

Learned a lesson.

shake 08-29-2019 10:24 PM

lost a little over 7k, but that was about a days earning in those days for me. could have been a lot worse.

Same, i refuse to watch it due all those people who lost money and those who even committed suicide due it.

Markul 08-30-2019 03:59 AM

It is amazing that Chris still has legs.

I was headed to the beach when I found out. I believe I had about $4,500 bucks in there or so. I wrote it off on taxes.

Rochard 08-30-2019 09:48 AM

I watched it a few months ago.... It was a good watch.

I find it amusing that some movies can be good but never gain an audience because... People never hear about it. Just like porn, it's all in the marketing.

Moment when i heard how movie under performed it was a moment when i know it how shit is getting serious in epassporte. But i was too slow to respond properly. When it comes to paxum, well that is completely chaotic situation - if we would use common logic and experience based on similar cases in history, paxum should of be gone right after card fiasco but they seems to be still operational. So hard to tell will they be gone tomorrow or work for next 10 years.

Movie was pretty good. It is in my motivation movie collection along the lines of those like blow, wolf of wall street, etc.

Miguel 09-02-2019 12:41 PM

I haven't watched it yet.

He's definitely making more money now that its on netflix + amazon and others.

It's really not a bad movie, pretty far fetched at parts, but really only is interesting to people like us, which is a tiny ass market, hence the tiny ass revenue.

Yes, I feel Mallick inspired us all :)

EddyTheDog 09-03-2019 01:55 AM

I watched it with friends - not in the biz - I was all 'I have spoken to that guy online in real life' and 'I know the guy that character is based on' - They are all 'of course you do Damian, have another drink'...

If only they knew - lol.....

pornmasta 09-04-2019 03:48 AM
