One of the best coders ever to exist. When Doom came out, he decided it would be cool to let people make their own levels - the first person to do this BTW - so he coded the mod tool up in an afternoon. An afternoon. An. Afternoon. This is like early raster shit and lines of sight rendering, the motherfucker is a Mozart with code.

QuakeED was ok, but I was a bigger fan of Quark/Quakemap back in the day :upsidedow
But.. Maybe it's because I was young and couldn't completely get QuakeED to work right lol...

This was for Doom, before Quake came out. Quake BTW, was the first 3D FPS.
