How has the adult industry not created their own cryptocurrency yet?

Just a wondering thought... with the adult and porn industry always under the eye of banks and other institutes, why has the adult industry not come up with their own cryptocurrency for affiliates, payments, and transactions? I mean other than bitcoin. With the problems of Paxum, ePassporte, and the others, it would seem that if the minds of the adult world got together payments and money could flow easier right?

jscott 10-03-2019 11:19 PM

Look at Wankcoin, Titcoin or all the rest, they fail because greedy premines, centralization, or no chance of adoption.

Why would any payer or receiver want a crypto that is not adopted, well known, decentralized or branded as well as Bitcoin already is?

Look Chang 10-04-2019 12:06 AM

Clitcoin or Jizzcoin would make it :stoned

XMaster 10-04-2019 12:34 AM

It did. And it failed.

Klen 10-04-2019 12:36 AM

There is dozen of them and they all failed miserably.

Paul&John 10-04-2019 02:14 AM

Still got some titcoin if you want :P

As many have said there was. I was always a big fan of Tit Coin. I think there were a few others as well. I kind of got out of the Crypto scene a few years ago.

I remember the owner of TitCoin was giving backlinks + 100k coins or so for web masters who wrote reviews/articles about it.

Worth $11 today but would have been about 7 grand if you sold at Titcoins peak during that winter crypto boom a couple years ago.

Would you trust Manwin with a crypto currency?

ilnjscb 10-05-2019 01:15 PM

I have been saying this since 2009 - but I think BTC has won (not the Korean currency, the past tense of the verb) for now. BTC has a lot of flaws but so does wheat, and everyone adopted that.

I think we work with BTC until someone comes up with a new plan.

In other news, if anyone has a FULL infrastructure for a crypto and will sell it to me, I will buy

As i said before, BTC is like coca cola - everyone tries to copy it, but coca cola is still a king.

Adult really needs another 57753356 new coins because surfers need the added benefits of extra steps to take and fuck around with nerd ass shit instead of just fucking paying with the CC direct and not to buy a fucking coin...

Question for coin creators: where do you buy your narcotics? Stick with that guy...you are all on some good shit...

Porn coin LOL...pfffffffffft

pimpmaster9000 10-05-2019 03:09 PM

"Oh I am horny as fuck! Ill just spend days funding a dumb ass coin wallet, instead of paying right away with my cc and wanking" "my wood will keep for days" - nobody ever

Yeah my brother, the first time the wife or GF finds that CC and works it out, your Mr. Example will have his dick kicked in and he'll be looking for a solution

Klen 10-06-2019 01:53 AM

Tho, it would be still nice to have a single unified porn crypto currency, that thing might work. Kind a crazy how facebook can gather tons of companies around to support their currency while we cant.

jscott 10-06-2019 03:48 AM

We have governments and trusted 3rd party financial institutions already. Why would a cryptocurrency be needed?

Bitcoin is trustless/permissionless & truly p2p, that's why Bitcoin works and the rest are steaming piles of junk (including all "porn coins", most altcoins, & other institutional coins like JPM coin or Libra)

but it is not used except as payment in darknet.

the share of bitcoin payments in the internet is less than 0,5%
and if you talk to adultcompanies that accept bitcoin as payment you will find you that the numbers there are even MUCH lower.

Your claims of this are wrong every time. Many of us pay our Namesilo/registrars with Bitcoin, outside of USA there are MANY systems in place where you can pay your bills, taxes, phone credits etc. Australia big on this, even Thailand (ever tried Coins co th?). Not to mention all companies using Gocoin, Bitpay, BTCpayserver, Coinbase's system and more. I understand there'll always be a few who're always pro status quo who try to rumor these false claims, easy to do so since Bitcoin was popular on SilkRoad.

Everyone I know uses Bitcoin as store of value and also hedge against the dollar, stocks, gold :thumbsup (yes storing value is a usage)

Bitcoin (LN) micropayments in the works. BTC cheap cheap payments are here now. Try sending 1 Bitcoin from your cold wallet to anywhere, tell us how much you pay (right now i'm seeing $0.11 cents on "normal" fee , while you can pay a quarter more for faster speed)

and because YOU use it and a few others it is a serious payment ?

tell them that they are wrong before you try to turn the facts upside down

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...nobody-uses-it

imagine 100-150 MILLION per month loooool worldwide

and 1 billion of that per year in the darknet to buy drugs, illegal weapons and CP = 60%

yeah yeah - i fully understand you ;-)

Also, you try to shit talk Bitcoin saying "nobody uses it"? do you even know the daily trading volume for gold?

I dont expect you'll ever get it man, you obviously don't get anything that's outta your box of normal thinking. That's not necessarily bad, you are not a tech guy, understood, but you should definitely work on your biggest flaw, and that is acting like you know everything about everything, because especially with Bitcoin you don't know anything at all. I invite you to get curious, ask questions, people here can help you :winkwink:

(also, if you like we can get into Bitcoin vs. USD usage on black market, dark net, illegal weapons, terrorism, etc, want to debate this?)

outta by brain you mean?

well yes you are right - for me it does not make sense to change my money into a cybercurrency to buy something what i can buy with my money right away.

i hope that the day will come when i am shopping in the supermarket and someone want to know how much 0,00000002334587654398654 bitcoins actually are.....

you live on the moon man !!!!

jscott 10-06-2019 10:46 AM

tell me this:

1. how often, if ever, do you use your store of value (ie. gold, silver, etc) to pay for coffee, or daily usage?

2. Tell me 1 form of digital payment system where user A can send X amount to user B and the transaction cannot be stopped and will be success 100% of the time. (ps. I just bought a flight today, i had to try with 3 of my cred/debit cards until finally something was accepted. :disgust )

3. How often have you used Bitcoin for purchases, cold stored in wallets, general txns (not including exchanges). I'd like to know your general usage experience.

... moonman here, awaiting your answers.

never and i will never - why should i replace money with other money what only have itīs value through the money i had to buy it?

does that not go into your brain?

blockchain technology is smart and makes sense but not to replace money.

even when bitcoin is limited - at the end it would have to represent the value of all available goods and services on the planet.

and what are the other coins represent then? and what is the money that is still there for the same thing is representing?

you should really get some lessons in basic economy !

MaDalton 10-06-2019 11:18 AM

I don't see the Bitcoin ever becoming a currency that normal folks use like they use credit cards today. Or mobile billing.

I would have given Libra a chance since it's tied to FB and therefore automatically has like 2 billion potential users. The resistance they are meeting shows that this is really consiered a danger to fiat currency (Paypal just left the Libra consortium).

But John Doe paying his electricity bill and his burgers and beers at the local bar with Bitcoin? Nah.

No I'm not. I believe far future Bitcoin could be better form of daily especially micro but not right now, i like store of value, hold own keys, be own bank, permissionless.

My goal on GFY anymore is to correct the misinformation spread by people like you.

You're still relying on your bank, and what they allow you to use your money for (do you have any banking limits? atm withdraw limits?), luckily for you Thailand has more stable banking system than Zimbabwe or Venezuela. Bitcoin is a choice for everyone, globally, just because you feel your system is secure enough doesn't mean that everyone is in the same boat as you.

Ok so here you are, spouting like you're some Bitcoin genius while you haven't even used it, and you've only proven that you read Bloomberg or Forbes articles, you're getting views from the banking/gov side of things and not from the citizen side of things, for example a citizen in Venezuela who bought Bitcoin years ago for safe haven and watched as all his neighbors lost everything while the bolivar collapsed.

As for "other coins" have you not seen my stance about "other coins" here? I think 99.9% of them are money grabs, business opportunities (usually to create income for the founders)

while we're discussing my need to learn basic economics, can you name 1 country in the world that is NOT decreasing their fiat purchasing power???

2MuchMark 10-06-2019 11:35 AM

Consumers struggle to believe that Bitcoin is a real currency. There's no way they will trust something called "Tit-coin" or anything else with a ridiculous name. And besides, I know zero models who want to be paid in anything else but USD.

sorry - i can not teach you the basics before we discuss.

believe what you want but i can see that you miss the very basics of economy and knowledge what money is representing and how the money circle works.

just one simple fact: if nobody buys bitcoin tomorrow you will not be able to buy anything with it because the value is zero.
if nobody buys dollars tomorrow they are still there and represent the value the goods and the productivity of a whole country.
if you do not even understand that it is senseless to discuss with you.

well you wont answer that simple question? there is no 1 country. Every single dollar/euro/bolivar/pesos today will be worth less tomorrow, next year, next decade. Do you deny this?
