that is not their claim.

To begin with, its more like a 3 wheel bike, than a car.

They just say you dont need to plug it in IF you only ride the miles they say is the limit AND you live in a place like sunny California.

So if that car sits outside every day and you only drive short distances, its not impossible to have "free forever" battery power

I would rather walk then drive that

the new electric bicycles are amazingly efficient and something like this with solar + pedal power combined would make an amazingly efficient ultra light bike/car combo...

I believe that solar+battery+pedal will be very popular in the future...

I guess okay if you can keep it outside every day, but for those who have indoor parking spaces it's going to be a nightmare. But on the other hand, they will never purchase it in the first place.

In California at all you can fry eggs on a sidewalk, in Vancouver not so sure. So, contraption this has so many "ifs" that it is worthless....yet the OP said " never needs charging" maybe " never needs plugging in" would have been more accurate.:2 cents:

it's solar, not perpetual

yeah not a fool proof as advertised, but in fairness they are seeking investors and it is pretty cool ....

I think the point that some are missing is that it could be a leap forward in efficiency. I think the car (car?) itself is ugly and I'm sure that it accelerates like a turtle, but like concept cars, it can be a good example what can be done.
