There are many ways to get traffic. You can use Twitter, Reddit, use your other adult sites, but nothing beats the search engine traffic.

Quite common to make a pay site without having enough free site traffic to warrant one.
Your going to need tubes blogs backlinks etc and lots of them to build your traffic.
