What's a fair rate to pay writers?
For native, english speaking, and can write well, meet deadlines, etc.
What's a fair rate per 100 words? And since that's pretty subjective, let me put it this way: What's the least and most (dollars per word) you've ever paid a writer for doing blog posts on a consistent basis? |
If its a pro, around a dollar per word . . .
|
if the blog posts are for SEO reasons and not intended to be read by real people? $0.01-$0.02/word
if they're meant to be read by real people and have to be well-researched, well-written, and provide value to users? $1/word doesn't seem crazy |
When I was a professional journalist writing for magazines and newspapers my rate was $1 a word ($2 a word if I could get it, which happened a few times). But that was "back in the day" as the kids say. I would not pay that for a blog post for porn. LOL
Instead I would pay a flat rate per post, say $5 for around 300-500 words. But you can also do a search on Fivrr and Upwork to see what writers are getting. But bear in mind many writers post a very high rate on their profiles but will take far less for an actual job. :) Good luck! |
I pay 1c/word for simple blog posts and 2c/word for quality reviews.
|
$5-$15 per blog posts with 300 words I guess?is the common offer on some websites
|
I'm also interested in min/max for editing videos (title, select categories based on thumbs, tags, NO description). Title 1-2 to 5-7 words max and it cant be copy paste from other websites, google doesnt like this.... What would be the price for this? I have 3000 videos i need edited...
