I'd like to see some more replies in this thread, hopefully with some more detail than the three or four bare names dropped so far.
I've been promoting the Stockroom for, what, fifteen years? But their back end stats have never been acceptable and lately their system has gotten so slow that an affiliate link takes at least fifteen long seconds between the time a surfer clicks my link and the time their store page starts to draw. I just don't feel good about sending new traffic into that. Plus, it's been about five years since they had an empowered affiliate manager and I haven't heard from anybody at all there in a couple of years, except for payments (at least they do still pay, they've always been good about that). I'm not looking for white labels; I'm looking for branded stores, with as much brand recognition and longevity as possible. Plus, in a perfect world, good stats for affiliates on the back end (honestly the next toy affiliate program that I see with this will be the first) and decent communications. Last but foremost, an absolute commitment to long term link stability and paying affiliates every dime they have coming, preferably in a timely fashion. Who are you using, people? Who's good? Now that people are back at their desks after the holidays, maybe we can get a few more suggestions for toy affiliate programs?

Sigh. I repeat myself:

Amazon's terms also prohibit traffic from adult websites, and they routinely cancel affiliate accounts detected putting their links near adult material. Which is not to say people haven't found ways. But it's tough to build stable sex toy business with them.
|
has anyone done it with amazon?
examples ? |
Over the years I have seen dozens of websites promoting Amazon sex toys via affiliate links. Some lasted longer than others, but they all got caught eventually, and they're all gone now. Maybe some fast buck artists made bank in the short run, but if you're interested in building for the long run, it's not an interesting option.

Bumping this from three weeks ago. I'm still looking for good toy programs. Remember please that bare links aren't very useful; it's your thoughts on why a program is good that make the recommendation useful.
|
My Stockroom affiliate links are still too damn slow. They need to feed the squirrels on the hamster wheel in their server room. Meanwhile, I'm still looking for good toy programs.
