Open Office, Microsoft Office, - What do you use?

Open Office, Microsoft Office, - What do you use? Something different?

I use Google docs. The entire suite is all free and has everything I need. It has docs and excel, powerpoint.... And because everything is done on line I never ever lose anything.

Google pix is the best. I take a picture on my phone and instantly it's uploaded to Google so I never ever have to worry about losing a picture. Of anything. Ever.

My wife and I also use Google calendar. It syncs everything up for both of us.

Google docs and pages on the Mac if I need a desktop app when working offline.

MS Office - I have no time to diddle around with alternatives that are never 100% compatible. Especially Power Point.

that being said I use Google docs for a lot of not so complex stuff, especially when I need to share the docs with somebody

adultchatpay 12-26-2019 05:17 PM

Google docs, i can access it anywhere

Microsoft Office. I do a lot of writing and editing for clients worldwide and compatibility is very important. I have Chinese clients who send me stuff from a software called KingSoft. Complete pain in the ass.

Microsoft Office. Not a fan of free software. The economics are just not there, in most scenarios, and inevitably the software starts slipping and you just get pissed off. Yes, there are outliers, but in general it's a good rule of thumb.
