I am in SoCal for Christmas, a few blocks from a huge Amazon complex.... Since I got here there has been lines of trucks out on the street waiting to get into the complex. The logistics behind what they do must be stunning.

I drove by the Fall River complex last week and almost every bay was open and empty. Lately all Amazon deliveries are by another company and not UPS. The employee I know there was laid off a few weeks ago but no reason was given.

Their prices are better than others and I hear they price-match if found cheaper. I used to buy a lot from them but now not too often.
