It may sound weird, but my favorite film with Drakula is "Van Helsing". So oldschool now :) But this trailer looks good, the character is more canonically depicted

A Netflix series.. = terrible shite.

They are in a unique position of not having to mind any type of quality control. Just pump it out and let the dummies do the rest.

I have to agree Netflix fiction series are more and more crap last 2 years. So I'm getting skeptic.

Coproduced with the BBC - by Gatiss and Moffat, the same pair behind Sherlock (and many of the best Dr. Who episodes.)

Watched the first episode last night and really enjoyed their take on the Dracula character.

I'm a geek, so I tend to go in for the fantasy, horror and sci fi stuff and Netflix has put out some good stuff in those genres: The Umbrella Academy, The Haunting, Daredevil, and Lost in Space immediately come to mind. Travelers was also really good, but I think it was another coproduction that got picked up by Netflix after not being renewed by their original network.

I just stopped the first episode at about 15 mins - I couldn't get into it - It's still morning here and there are distractions so I will try again this evening...

If Moffat is doing it then it will be brilliant.

It was good up till episode three, it fell all to shit in the opening scene. I didnt not bother watching episode four.

Seen it, loved it, seen it again.
I only have seen 3 episodes btw, not sure where the 4th is.
After 3rd was done, it looked like it was done for :) Ending was a little ... romantic :)
