Bulletproof vests
Just checked the prices on bulletproof vests here. They start at $1000. A one for $2000 my stop a bullet from AK47. My question is why people buy them? If I'll shot at someone, I will shot at his face, at his crotch and legs to get him down. How a bulletproof vest for $1000 will help him to stand up? I really don't understand this marketing trick for selling out an absolutely useful shit for that price...

_Richard_, just FYI: I was trained for that in the Soviet School Of Olympic Reserve since 10 year old age (a .22 LR pistol) and after that I've been to army ;)
And here is a fix for my own post: "I really don't understand this marketing trick for selling out an absolutely useless shit for that price..." |

Pick up a pistol and try to shoot a target in the leg or head. |
Aim for center mass.

P.S. He's saying if you run 3 miles, pick up a gun while you're fatigued, and shoot...not shoot a distance of 3 miles |

i was curious, USA says 3k police saved due to vests since 70s |
FYI Kevlar and much stronger ballistic textiles are available to purchase by consumers.
Have a seamstress/tailor customize an undergarment piece that perfectly fits your body, or have them install one or more panels (made of multiple layers of fabric stitched together) into the inner lining fabric of your existing vests and jackets. It's cost effective, provides you a perfect fit, and removes the unnecessary and rugged carrier that the ballistic textile is normally housed in. |

When we were kids, we've shout off a day-lighting system which was about two centimeters in diameter... from a 25 meters range... just for fun of course. Quote:

Any armor is better than no armor, most people can't shoot for shit and that includes a lot of police.
Most are trained to shoot center mass. Concealed armored vest can stop most small arms fire but not larger rifle's. I have a pistol I think would even penetrate those vests, if it didn't it would hurt like hell. They are outlawed for public use in California. |
Do watch a lot of TV?

This guy is so full of shit. It never ends. I guarantee this is a sneaky way to call out America and assure himself that Russia is best somehow.
At what range are you zeroing this 22 at? |

If you feel the need to buy a bulletproof vest, isn't it just time to change location?
There's a whole world outside that bubble ya know. |
