40 lbs is a huge difference

I've now lost about forty lbs in the past four or five months.... I bought this cycling jersey years ago - it's an "XL" but could never fit in it. (Cyclying jerseys are notoriously small.) I haven't been on the bike since I started hitting the gym four months ago but today is the day and... I fit into this jersey perfectly.

I am so happy right now.

Congrats man. I'm down 203lbs down in the 2 years since my stroke. Not a recommended diet plan.

AmateurFlix 01-24-2020 06:27 PM

congrats

Oh my god... You had a stroke?

Congrats on losing the weight. I bet you look like a completely different person.

Awesome. Make sure to remember the hard work you did in the last few months. I've lost 60+ lbs with diet and gym 2 years back, but I'm back where I started :( Eating and drinking with my gf was way easier then spending 2-3 hours in the gym every second day =D

203! That's impressive - But, as you say not a nice way to do it - I need to shift about 110lb - That would put me at about 180lb - I could live with that...

Any smaller than that I would start to look ridiculous - I've known a few people over the years that have lost massive amounts of weight and it really ages them.....

The pic in my avatar is from about 22 years ago - I was about 180lb then...

Cheers to your health!

Sadly, I did and still putting life back together. I am literally half the person I used to be... almost. If I still had a server I'd post a pic, my face no longer looks like it's melting.

I cant fit in a bike shirt, but my Mr. Skin jersey fits now

Tati 01-26-2020 03:08 AM

That's amazing! looking great. Any good dietary tips?

will do - just had dinner last night w/ Uncle D and we talked about you - about how great you were doing.

PornDiscounts-V 01-26-2020 01:38 PM

Looking good. Down 43 pounds here. Fitting into a lot of clothes I haven't fit into in a decade.

Goethe 01-26-2020 08:09 PM

Congrats to the winners! I started intermittent fasting 16/8 at the start of January, along with Dry January. I’m currently down 3kg. Not huge but I’m happy with the way things are progressing.

baddog 01-26-2020 08:30 PM

intermittent fasting - another name for skipping breakfast.

RyuLion 01-26-2020 08:40 PM

It definitely is a big difference, I've lost 45 so far.

that's a bit of a simplistic way to see it. if you skip breakfast and still eat continuously into the evening you aren't going to get any of the health benefits or lose anything in the process.

but if you did it with 2 decent sized meals a day in a shortened eating window you would progress with both. It's also the most reasonable and versatile way to go about diet because it is no where near as restrictive as others and if one decides to breech the model on a given day it is just as easy to go back to it the next day and be back on track. Where a ketogenic regiment would throw you off for a week.

Good for you.

And good thing you go to the gym too....all that cycling will strip away your muscle if you don't lift weights.

GAMEFINEST 01-27-2020 03:06 PM

congrats bro!

ZackBasil 01-27-2020 03:40 PM

Congrats!! That's awesome result!

I got rid of 30kg (66 lbs) last year(diet+GYM 3 times a week). It was pretty tough but worth every single fcking sweat drop.

Keep on doing!

lock 01-28-2020 01:04 AM

I dropped about 30lb over about 6 months and only just skipped my morning tea no difference in exercise.

That must've been some caloric tea :)
