OneHungLo 02-02-2020 03:14 PM

I always use butter when I cook eggs and never olive oil. I might give that a shot..

MaDalton 02-02-2020 04:04 PM

is balut mentioned in the video?

NatalieK 02-03-2020 12:34 AM

sunflower oil basted sunny side up or burnt crispy edges flipped for me, and loving normal 8 min boiled eggs.

Thanks for the vid :thumbsup

I still will eat cold boiled eggs as is but much prefer them warm with butter salt pepper not trying to smash as many as can anymore.

To be honest, I prefer quail eggs over the chicken ones. I can eat them even raw, but also use them for omelette and also I like them pickled. I'm a rare Russian who pickles boiled eggs. Not many here understand the concept :)

P.S. Wanna a lifehack on how to make a poached egg? Take a cup, put there a broken egg and place it into a microwave for two minutes. During rotation it will be turned into an ideal poach.

Do you mean a blown up egg? I also had such an experience. That's why I said the egg must be broken like you do it for omelette. Just add about 100 milliliters of water there and then put the edd without shell there. Two minutes in microwave and you've got a perfectly made one..

It also works with fried potatoes :2 cents:

P.S. I know that not many people here (on GFY or in my country) will agree, but it's cool :thumbsup

RyuLion 02-03-2020 02:56 PM

My dad would do that! When I was younger he would always cook us breakfast and always saved the bacon grease for the next day.
