Paxum- Additional Compliance Requirements

Has anybody been asked for - Additional Compliance Requirements,

They seem to be requesting redundant information that was provided years ago.
After supplying multiple forms of id, they are requesting ;

- Photograph of yourself holding the Drivers License. Please make sure that the photo is of high quality, that the document is placed next to your face and that the hand with which you're holding the document is also present in the photo you send.

From time to time we do request additional information and documentation as, given the nature of our business, we do need to have up-to-date, accurate information.

If you feel concerned please email me - [email protected] - and let me know your username and I'll be happy to look into it.

You think that's bad, just saw this on the Paxum website...

"In order to combat fraud and follow required rules and regulations, Paxum partnered up with JUMIO, a US company that provides REAL-TIME end-to-end identity verification in over 200 countries.

In order to successfully verify your identity, you must have a camera enabled device (computer or a phone) and have your ID ready.

If you initiate an identity verification on a device that doesn't have a camera (or it doesn't meet the requirements), you will be able to send a external link to your email or verified phone number to continue identity verification on another device."

I had to do this type of verification with another unrelated service.

It's fucking creepy that some third party company who I've never heard of is analyzing (and recording) video of me sitting in front of my webcam.

Good thing with that service its instant. Had to resubmit my passport lately and they wanted a selfie of myself now.

I uploaded one, was analyzed by that new company service and compared to my passport pic i suppose and a few moments later automatically approved....

Is there ANY indication, whatsoever, that Paxum will secure a new debit card issuer this year? Is anything in the works at all?

If not, I'll likely close my account. I'm in Canada and, despite Paxum also being in Canada, they don't even support EFTs for Canadians. It's pretty pathetic at this point.

Paxum: when will you fix the debit card issue? Surely there's something available as a replacement for UnionPay.

EFT sucks here in USA.
$3500 cap.
$5 per transaction from paxum.
$25 from a wire that happens in the middle.

I'd rather pay $50 + $25 and get all of my money at once.

While i had Etrade virtual ACH account, it worked like a charm, there was no fee to receive ACH transfer. Maybe their ETF transfer works different.
