Frame is now here !

All metal with inclined base plate for pedals, shelf for wheel and optional side attachment bracket for holding shifter - Matt Black finish, pre drilled holes for attachments & nice and heavy and solid - Good stuff so far :thumbsup

Well its all set up now and semi cable managed... Big switch on after I've eaten not one, but two massive chinese takeaway meals that have just been delivered :)

Are you using a VR headset or going old style with multiple monitors?

As of now im just on a single 1440 x 2560 curved 32 inch Samsung monitor with 144Hz refresh rate.

I will be getting a headset in the future, as the PC can easily power it in VR.

Nice hardware! I would have no time for that though!

With a VR setup you don't even need that much hardware. Just a frame to hold your seat, pedals, steering wheel and a shelf pullout for keyboard and mouse when you need them.

Want to fly? Swap out steering wheel gas/brake pedals for a flight stick and rudder pedals.

Want to drive a tank? (It's extremely popular) just change out the controllers again.

Plus everything you see is in 3D. I've seriously considered building something for Eve Online.

Rain Stopped Play :(

Here in the UK we have a major storm, 'Storm Ciara', and it's blowing a gale and raining like mad... My setup is built into a bay window and the roof above has sprung a leek in about four different places. So it's now been completely dismantled, and buckets and towels everywhere!

Fucking Weather !!!
