When Amerinoc sold out we were one of the clients who were hit pretty hard. Despite being with them for a decade no one bothered to tell us that they were being sold. We only found out when waking up one morning to find nothing worked and our back ups were deleted. It took a few weeks of emergency work to get everything moved off of to new dedicated servers elsewhere

I still have a bunch of stuff parked on a shared server there and the current owners refuse to upgrade anything beyond PHP 5.3.29 and treat us like shit. They wont move us to their newer shared setup as they say we use too much disk space at 3gb and bandwidth at 120gb which is hilarious. The truth is they just want to fuck us over at a higher cost.

So who has cheap directadmin hosting for something like this. Need to be able to choose PHP 5.6 and 7.3 and have Lets encrypt etc?

I'm pretty sure I sold you something way back in the day with Phat. I'll set you up with something simple that will take care of your needs. We use Direct Admin and do daily backups.

Plus, Mike W is on our team. I'm sure you remember him from before the selloff.

I use to be a phatservers fanboy. Fuck Amerinoc. They had me ready to punch holes in walls at one point. I'm paranoid, can't be fucking with my work like that.

I got screwed by them years ago, well before the buyout.

I moved away from them over a year, very glad I did.
