Why Is Bitcoin Dropping?..

Surely it should be going up with everything that's going on at the moment - It seems to be trending with the international markets.....

freecartoonporn 02-25-2020 08:10 PM

Buffet said he didn’t own any and never would.

Here you go: https://www.cnbc.com/2020/02/24/warr...chterm=buffett

He can move markets, that’s for sure.

better interview imo -> https://twitter.com/APompliano/statu...82409859006464

I don't trust Warren Buffet's opinions about anything innovative or tech related

In my opinion the financial elite who naturally are against btc are also the biggest threat to its success.

While I really like Buffet and even owned a Berkshire Hathaway share for a bit, he also said the same thing about owning any technology stock and didn't own any for a very long time.

He's very good at evaluating businesses and seeing opportunities but it doesn't mean he doesn't miss them too.

Well put shake :thumbsup

Also, Warren Buffet invests in banks so ofc he has financial incentive to hate Bitcoin. He didn't become the worlds 4th richest man by being a sweet innocent old man

Goethe 02-26-2020 02:06 AM

Yup, not arguing with any of the points made, but in reply to the OP that’s probably the reason.

Might have something to do with the bulk of miners being in china or something along those lines. They mine, and they have to sell at least a large portion of what they mine to cover costs. Since they can't mine due to quarantines, they are selling reserves.

The Bitcoin market is not doing anything new. Hills and valleys, hills and valleys.
Buy, hodl, and wait. This strategy has been working now for years. Just look at what you could have bought into exactly one year ago. Two or three. Now wait until this time in 2021. Bazinga.

There are more sellers than buyers.

EddyTheDog 02-26-2020 10:42 AM

Pushing down even faster now - 17% over the week - 7% of that in the last 24 hours...

nikki99 02-26-2020 10:44 AM

I lost a lot of money

pimpmaster9000 02-26-2020 10:49 AM

the halving countdown is nigh...75 days...mining rewards will halve...btc is a very very concentrated asset...miners and the 1% own most of it...to keep mining profitable they will have to stay above 12.000$/BTC when the halvening happens to account for electricity depending on what country...

djroof 02-26-2020 10:51 AM

Yes dropping but before that situation was going up... so still waiting for the next bull run!

ruff 02-26-2020 07:58 PM

This same conversation has been going on here for several years now. Unreal.

jscott 02-26-2020 09:57 PM

But i bought bitcoin, why its not going straight up?

Would it be possible that markets are for transferring wealth from impatient to patient?

;)
