My parents are looking to sell their house on the lake house and buy one of these.

There goes my inheritance and retirement home all in one fell swoop. :1orglaugh

I've always wanted to do this, although not with a massive motorhome. I just want to get a small conversion van. This would be more for "long working trips" instead of a way of life. I can work from anywhere so long as I have a laptop. I would love to tour the US. The problem is... Wife and house....

Most amazing thing ever. I have a 36ft class A and tow the Jeep. The Harley is on a lift on the back of the MH. It’s an amazing lifestyle and something I highly recommend to anyone interested in doing it. It can be done cheap if need be. I lived large while on the road but know a lot of people who live very frugally.

That would be a dream come true to rent/buy a massive RV but I couldn't drive it... That is where the only problem lies. I can't even imagine how amazing it would be to zig zag across the country with a mini-home.

yes, that is why most 'man' won't make their dream come true.
Sell them both is my suggestion.
Or just buy a small caravan and travel 6 months and see if she is still there.
