Might actually life some weight for the first time in about a year. I refuse to go to a gym if I can't even be bothered to do some weight lifting in my own home. Plus gym peeps usually annoy the fuck out me anyway.

Yes decision made. An hour or so on the weights. And try get back into the swing of it again.

Plus i have a darts tournament on Monday so really should be putting in the practice for that :helpme

Still getting used to this 'no drinking' nonsense so I will avoid the pubs, restaurants and pretty much anything social really - So quiet...

The highlight of my week was getting a new sofa, so I think it's the perfect time to make sure it works ok.....

Reasons behind the no drinking ?

I never last more than a week or two. I just find it very unsociable most times. Whether it's out for a meal, or if there's a game on a friend's are heading out to the pub to watch, or just a general meet up with people... Now that's not to say I mean getting drunk, at all. But a few drinks for me doesn't ever do any harm. I just feel like when people say they are off the drink for 3 or 4 months the practically before recluse or just fall off the radar completely.

Kinda sad in a way but almost always true. Seen it happen a good few times before...

It was time - 35+ years of really hitting it hard - I'm an alcoholic - The liver is the only organ to regenerate itself, however I was at the point where I was in danger of that not happening anymore...

Luckily I found a drug that has made it less painful than I thought it would be - Naltrexone.....

go to AA meetings for a few years.... you'll meet interesting people, I went from '89 until 2016, had to stop attending due to TDS.... it will make the difference for you, you don't have to go forever and if the bullshit gets too deep sit on the steps outside and smoke while sexualy objectifying people in your head. do not EVER offer your couch or loan money, and this: people always talk about what bothers them, so if a cat is running on about the steps, he can't figure it out :2 cents:

Only for 2 hrs though, then back home take a nap, then go hiking, back to work, nap, work, rinse and repeat.

Insensitive ?? With that post you qualify only as a mild gay guy . . .

NatalieK 03-01-2020 02:56 PM

weather hasn´t rained since December, and with the sun out and 20c as always during winter, probably end up down a beach bar enjoying a beer & paella, tapas, partying, get some outdoor video work shot and update it to our fans...

an average day, is a normal day... work hard, play hard :thumbsup

Hope you all enjoyed your leap day!

No it means i relate to someone who has just owned up to having alcohol related problems and can hold my hands up when a post hasn't came across the right way. Rather than just being an asshole about it because that's what the cool kids do.

If that makes me "mildly gay" as you put it then so be it.

Imbecile...

please don´t take this insulting, absolutely the opposite, just me being slightly confused over emotions...

with you having so many problems over the past few years, feeling for you...

wondering why in the past you´ve been such an ass to me and my partner when we´re all here just doing business & it seems you really could have done with friends not aggressors here & in life.

Anyway, putting that behind us, wishing you the best for a nice week ahead.

I think you are confusing me with someone else to be honest.

I've read many of the stuff posted on here, and don't recall taking anything to do with any of it. Unless of course something has been aimed at me...
